OUR INITIATIVES
PEACE COMPETITION SERIES
It is important to start at an early age to build capacity and equip citizens to engage on issues of peace and conflict. It is equally important to start early to shape attitudes and build worldviews that facilitate peace, good governance and responsible politics. This is especially true considering the changing landscape and dynamics of conflict.
Peace education whether formal or informal helps to build capacity for peace among children, and youth. Such peace education can be done using all possible mediums. The IPGI Peace Competitions use various mediums, to raise awareness, and drive the conversation on issues of peace and governance, especially among youth and children. The competitions provide a platform to build capacity to engage for peace, effective conflict management and good governance.
