Peace Art Competition

The competition aims to build capacity, raise awareness, and foster conversation with children on peace, conflict, and meaningful coexistence. Participants are provided with a peace-related theme and asked to create art in the form of a painting/drawing that depicts the theme.

2024 theme: Unity in Diversity

As a guide, participants are provided with a summary of the theme in the ‘guidance text’

The Peace Art Competition Nigeria 2024 is for children aged 8-10.

Our Partners
The Peace Art Competition is organized by Idimuwem Peace and Governance Initiative – IPGI, in collaboration with the Black Montessori Education Fund (BMEF)

IPGI partners with the Youth Alive Foundation (YAF) and SAROS International Learning Centre to implement the competition

Prizes
The prizes are courtesy of the Black Montessori Education Fund as follows:
1st prize N300, 000 scholarship
2nd Prize N200, 000 scholarship
3rd Prize N100, 000 scholarships

Terms and Conditions.
1.⁠ ⁠All participants must submit a signed Guardian consent and declaration form

2.⁠ ⁠Note, the Black Montessori Education Fund will use selected art work for a period of year for sale on their platform, and 50% of the amount gotten from the sale will be used as part of the scholarship prize for participants whose entries are.
